The Flickr Group Tracker

The Flickr Group Tracker allows you to highlight threads in Flickr group discussions. Topics you post in are automatically highlighted in yellow, and other topics you wish to follow are highlighted in pink. Highlighting can be controlled on a thread-by-thread basis. It can also be temporarily disabled for all threads using a checkbox on the recent activity page.

Photostream Graphr

The Flickr Photostream Graphr is back — in a way. I modified the original script to create the graph inside of the browser (using a "canvas" element, if you want to know the technical details). Because I wanted to reuse the data of the original script I didn't rename the script. Data collection wasn't changed, so it should even be possible to switch back easily. I just tinkered with the graphing… ;-)

Multi-Tag Search From Photo Page

The purpose of the script is to make it easy to perform searching for photos using multiple tags from a photo page. Normally, flickr allows you to click on a tag to see all public photos tagged with that tag, and all photos that the uploader has tagged with the tag. However, you can only do this with one tag at a time. With this script, you can select multiple tags by clicking on tiny links next to the tags you are interested in searching for, and then choose to search the public photos or just limit it to the uploader's photos.

Lights Out

This script adds the Adobe Lightroom "Lights Out" functionality to a Flickr photo page. The lights out functionality causes the browser window (with the exception of the photo) to be overlayed with a semi-transparent medium grey image. Upon a second click, the browser window is completely blacked out.

This is a greasemonkey script to display more information from the EXIF data directly on the user page. When a photo is uploaded on Flickr, it extracts the meta data it contains and displays part of it (date taken, camera model) next to the photo. These meta data provide more information about the photo but you cannot see them directly in the photo page. This script spares you a page load by displaying directly the additional information you are interested in on the photo page.

An annoying thing on flickr is that you never know where people that visit your photo have found it.This is a small script that will add a small text at the end of your comment saying where you come from. If everyone starts using this script, then it will be easy to see where the people have found your photos and how they got to comment on it.

Flickr Rich Text Edit

Steve made a small mod to the jrhyleys cool rich text editor GreaseMonkey script. He basically added a "userlink" and "grouplink" option above the textarea. So say you highlighted a username say steeev then click "userlink" it will automatically convert it to a link to that flickr users photostream. this only works when their username is the same as their "url" name of course. Or say you wanted to make a link to the mutants group, you could highlight the word mutants then click the grouplink link and it will automatically convert it to a link to the mutants group.

Display group membership next to pictures in your photostream for view and fave groups like topv-111. Helps manage memberships in groups based on number of views and favorites. This is a script to implement features that have been already asked a few time all around the flickr community: have a better control over the view of the "Comments You've made" page to be able to filter to see only certain types of comments. The current features allow you to see directly 10 pages of comments and filter the comments displayed to show only: * photos from your contacts/friends/family with new comments * photos with new comments and less than 10 since yours (so you still see your original comment). * photos with new comments that you have not marked as ignored * photos with new comments since your last visit (loading) of the "Comment You've Made" page.

Flickr Contacts Organiser

It lets you tag your contacts, which can help you to find them again, and also keep up with their photostreams etc. You can actually tag any flickr user they dont need to be your contacts in order for you to tag them. You can even tag users that have blocked you or you have blocked. The tags are stored locally on your machine and are thus private to you. To tag a user you can either do it from the contacts page, where a +tag link will be added next to users icons, or their recent photos, or theres also a “Tag this Person” menu item added to the "BuddyIcon" menus, which you can activate by hovering over a users Buddy Icon. Once youve tagged some contacts, if you go to the contacts page you can view the contacts listed by tag, there is also a select box called “Current Filter” You can change the filter to view photos and other assorted info from those tagged users.
